“Abruzzo sweet and gentle” A quote of Primo Levi

Welcome with us Jonathan Ciavattella, let’s give you some information about him…

Born in Termoli, in the Province of Campobasso in 1981, already as a young athlete started with awesome results both in swimming and running competitions. Then started cycling because of an injury and of course we all know that from this, it is a short step to become a triathlete. “Triathlon” from then, has become the adventure of his entire life.

Italian Champion in 1999 in the “Allievi” young category, became a national triathlon athlete and participated at three World Championships, four European Championships and to other countless World Triathlon Series. In 2008 won the World Military Team Championships Title. He has raced for the Army Triathlon Team as a professional athlete until now.

In 2009 thanks to his outstanding results was summoned to race in the WTS to try to get important points for the qualification at the London 2012 Olympic Games. In Barcelona at the Middle Distance European Championships conquered the bronze medal, performing wonderfully together with Alberto Casadei and Danilo Brustolon.

He raced in 51.50, 70.3, Ironman and Challenge both in the middle and long distance competitions. Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Hungary and even Dubai, are some of the places where he has been racing around the world, always carrying out top results as well as at his home race, the Ironman Pescara.
He wants to stay at home since traveling so much is very tiring, but we want him to start this new trip with us. Welcome on board to fly with us with the PPRTeam’s uniform.

We almost forgot that: “commitment and always fight for your goals” are his personal keywords.
How can we not get along with him!
