The countdown has already started. The world Ironman final is not far away. Laura Pederzoli the protagonist of the project #RoadToKona has raced her last event in the first edition of the Ironman 70.3 Pula in Croatia before the competition in Hawaii. She finished 10th with the time of 4h35’17” but then the results were modified because the organizers decided to cancel the swim portion.

She said: “it was a very tough race, rough see conditions, strong currents and a lot of wind but I really enjoyed it. The bike was difficult and windy. My run was ok on the first half, then abdominal pains and nausea and I had profound leg fatigue. Too bad for the final result that was different because of the cancellation of the swim portion. I crossed the finish line in 5th position but then the final results were totally different. I do not feel demoralized at all, my main goal of the day was that of testing my preparation less than a month to my challenge in Kona”.
