After taking bronze at the European Championships in Rimini and gold at the Ironman 70.3 Italy in Pescara, Vanessa Raw adds another amazing performance to her successful season. The British, at her first season with the PPR Team, claims silver at the Ironman 70.3 in Budapest in 4h19’26” behind the Irish Eimear Mullan. First out of the water, Vanessa made a solid bike in 2h’25”40 that kept her in the top positions. In the run she made a stellar performance in 1h22’32”. (only the winner made a better time). Her fantastic run allowed her to keep the podium and even dream for a prestigious success. The second position is an excellent result for the British athlete even if the main goal was that of taking the top position of the podium. The season is still on and she is still eager to win.
